Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb tells Indy Politics he doesn’t think returning $1 billion to Hoosier taxpayers will add to inflationary pressures on the economy.
The Governor has proposed returning an additional billion dollars to Hoosiers in the form of an additional automatic tax refund of $225 per taxpayer.
He plans to call a special session at the end of the month for lawmakers to address the issue.
The Governor says he doesn’t think the refund will add to inflation pressures as the money is already circulating in the Indiana economy,
