A new poll shows a clear majority of Hoosiers approve of the job Governor Eric Holcomb is doing.
A Morning Consult survey of the nation’s Governors released this morning shows Holcomb with a 54-percent approval rating.*
Only 19 percent of Hoosiers disapprove of the Governor’s performance, and 27 percent either didn’t know or had no opinion, the highest among the nation’s governors.
The margin of error was +/- two percent.
Morning Consult also looked at U.S. Senator Todd Young’s approval ratings. They were at 48 percent. His disapproval ratings were at 25 percent.
Morning Consult surveyed approximately 85,000 registered voters across the country.
Editor’s note: These numbers are very consistent with what we see in our Indy Politics informal political survey. So far more than 250 Hoosiers have responded. And 50 percent rate his performance as good or excellent. You can take the survey here. The full results will be posted later this week.
