Indy Mayor Joe Hogsett and Marion County Public Health Director Dr. Virginia Cain provide an update on COVID-19 and what they plan to ask the City-County Council to approve at Monday’s meeting.

Dr. Cain tells the media, the numbers continue to go in the right direction and while  mask-wearing wasn’t as prevalent as she’d hoped during the Indy 500, she believes limiting capacity and vaccination efforts helped limit the spread.

You can hear Dr. Cain and Mayor Hogsett in the Leon-Tailored Audio above.

It runs for about 30 minutes.
