With the U.S. Conference of Mayors meeting in Indianapolis this week, Indy Politics decided to speak with Matt Greller of the Indiana Association of Cities and Towns about the state of the state’s  municipalities.

Greller says new road funding from the state is helping the locals tremendously, however, there is still a need for long-term road funding.  He also comments on more financial flexibility for local governments as well as the biggest problem facing many municipalities, heroin and opioid addiction.

You can hear Greller in the Leon-Tailored Audio above.  His comments run approximately 12 minutes.
