Republican State Representative Mike Braun is reporting having raised $1 million this past quarter in his race for the U.S. Senate.

Most of that is self-funded with Braun contributing $800,000 of his own money and $200,000 in contributions.

Braun says his $1 million haul makes him competitive with GOP primary front-runners Todd Rokita and Luke Messer, both of whom reported having more than $2 million in the bank in the last reporting period.

The candidates are expected to post their most recent campaign finance reports later this month.

You can hear Braun in the Leon-Tailored Audio above.  It runs about eight minutes.
