A local veterans advocate says she hopes recent controversies at the Indiana Department of Veterans Affairs will lead to improved services for Veterans.

The Indy Star is reporting that three top employees of the agency have resigned in the wake of a possible criminal investigation regarding misuse of funds.

Lisa Wilken tells Indy Politics says the light being shined on incidents like shows such behavior will not be tolerated in the future.
