Proponents of CBD Oil in Indiana are about to get a very powerful ally, veterans.
There is renewed controversy over the hemp-related derivative since the Indiana Attorney General’s Office issued an opinion that it was illegal. Governor Eric Holcomb has given lawmakers 60 days to address the matter.

Veterans advocate Lisa Wilken tells Indy Politics that while Veterans groups are split over marijuana for medicinal purposes, she says they support the use of CBD Oil to help treat chronic pain and other ailments that afflict veterans.
She says they have been calling lawmakers to make sure CBD Oil is available and they will also push for it at a big rally next month at the Statehouse.
