We spend most of our time telling you what the political class is thinking. Every so often we like to flip it around.

Our latest Indy Politics Informal Ask is live. It runs through the November ballot — Secretary of State, Treasurer, Comptroller, U.S. Senate, your congressional, legislative and county races — plus job approval for Braun, Beckwith, Rokita, Young and Trump.

From there we get into the stuff that’s been driving the conversation all summer: whether property taxes should be eliminated and what replaces them if they are, how the state and your local officials handled the flooding, whether Indiana should be writing incentive checks to bring the Bears to Northwest Indiana, what you make of the data center boom, and whether politics has gone toxic — and who you blame for it.

Standard disclaimer: this is not a scientific poll. No weighting, no margin of error, no firm charging six figures for crosstabs. It’s an informal ask of the people who read us, which we’ve generally found to be more interesting anyway. No name required.

Five minutes, tops. Take it, then send it to a few people who’ll disagree with you. The more responses we get, the better the picture.
