With Indianapolis Public Schools unveiling plans to closing one high school and turn two more into middle schools, Indy Politics decided to revisit with long-time urban educator Jeff White about the issues facing IPS as well as similar districts across the country.
Jeff White, who has taught and been a principal in both Indianapolis and Chicago says what’s happening with IPS is the result of poor decisions made years ago.
