A national analyst says Indiana is in the “dark ages” when it comes to its laws regulating beer sales at grocery and convenience stores.

Indy Politics talks spoke with  GasBuddy.Com analyst Frank Beard whose traveled to more than a thousand gas stations in 24 states past 18 months.

Beard says, unlike Indiana, most states are moving towards giving their consumers more choices and options when it comes to retail cold beer sales.

A summer study committee is looking at Indiana’s alcohol laws and is expected to issue its first set of recommendations in November.
