In what was likely their last joint appearance before the May primary, the two Republican candidates for Mayor of Carmel took issue with each other over the city’s finances, public safety, and the tone of the campaign.
Incumbent Jim Brainard and challenger, Hamilton County Council Member Fred Glynn debated the issues at a forum host by the Carmel Clay Republican Club.
In part 1 of the Leon-Tailored Audio, the two debated whether Carmel needed more affordable housing, the city budget, and debt, as well as public safety.
In Part 2, they debated the tone of the campaign, whether Carmel had room for improvement and what would they tell someone who was thinking about moving to the city.
Each segment runs about 15 minutes.
