Governor Eric Holcomb today announced several new appointments and reappointments to various state boards and commissions.

 Alcohol & Tobacco Commission

The Governor made one new appointment to the Alcohol & Tobacco Commission (ATC):

  • John L. Krauss (Indianapolis), attorney, mediator and arbitrator with Krauss Group LLC, former founding director of the IU Public Policy Institute and former Deputy Mayor of Indianapolis will join the commission and will serve as chairman pro tempore. His term expires January 31, 2022.

 The Governor also appointed a new prosecutor to the commission:

  • David Coleman (Danville), formerly served as an ATC commissioner and Hendricks County Superior Court judge. His term as prosecutor expires January 31, 2022.

 The Governor also made three reappointments to the commission:

  • David Cook (Indianapolis) will continue his service on the commission and will continue to serve as the chairman. His new term will expire January 31, 2022.
  • F. Dale Grubb (Covington) will continue his service on the commission. His new term will expire January 31, 2022.
  • Marjorie Maginn (Indianapolis) will continue her service on the commission. Her new term will expire January 31, 2022.

 Indiana Housing & Community Development Authority Board of Directors

The Governor made one new appointment to the board:

  • J. June Midkiff (Fishers), with Merchants Bank of Indiana, will join the board. Her term expires November 30, 2021.

 The Governor also made two reappointments to the board of directors of the Indiana Housing & Community Development Authority:

  • Thomas K. McGowan (Carmel), president & COO of Kite Realty Group Trust, will continue his service on the board. His new term expires November 30, 2021.
  • Andrew W. Place, Sr. (South Bend), president of Place Builders Inc., will continue his service on the board. His new term expires November 30, 2021.

 The Governor also announced Russell D. Bailey as his appointment to the Jasper County Superior Court. Judge Bailey will succeed Judge James R. Ahler who was appointed to the United States Bankruptcy Court in June 2017.
