To deal with a growing number of COVID-19 cases, Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb is mandating Hoosiers wear masks starting next Monday and all students, grades 3 and up, along with teachers, staff and administrators will also have to wear masks this Fall.

The Governor made the announcements at his weekly media briefings on COVID-19.

The Executive mask order would apply to anyone eight years and older in indoor public places or in outside public spaces when social distancing isn’t possible.

The Governor said exceptions will be made for medical purposes, strenuous physical activity, eating, and drinking.

His administration’s comments run for about an hour.
