A second complaint has been filed against Glenda Ritz’s campaign for Governor.
A complaint was filed earlier this week, but was withdrawn. The second complaint filed by a Boone County man, not only reiterates the alleged campaign violations in the first complaint that was filed, but also brings into question campaign contributions in 2013.
Under state law, lawmakers and statewide office holders are prohibited from raising money during the budget years of the legislative session. The complaint alleges six donations taken in by Ritz in 2013.
In addition, it says Ritz failed to notify the Election Division, in writing, of a change in her campaign treasurer.
The Election Division has notified Ritz’s campaign of the complaint and is awaiting a response.
