I am running for Carmel Clay School Board in District 1 because I want to put our Carmel kids first. I am troubled by the shift from education to politics that I am seeing nationally. My platform for CCS includes transparency, strong academics, fiscal responsibility, and safety in our schools. I am asking for your vote on November 8th not just because of my platform but because I am qualified to lead on our school board. In today’s political climate, it is more important than ever that we choose candidates who align with our values and have a proven track record of leadership.

My qualifications and experience include:

  • CCS Mom of two young children
  • Lawyer
  • Engineer
  • Risk Manager
  • Public School Educated
  • President of the Junior League of Indianapolis
  • Experienced non-profit and corporate board member
  • Member of the Hamilton County Republican Women’s Club
  • 13-year Indiana resident, moved to Carmel FOR our schools
  • Endorsed by Congresswoman Susan Brooks

I have consistently demonstrated critical thinking, collaboration with stakeholders, and transparency in board roles. I respond to questions with transparency and honesty. I encourage diverse viewpoints and listen to parents, teachers, students, and taxpayers.

A few slates of candidates backed by PACs and special interest groups are encouraging voters to vote only for those on their slate to ensure a shift to a more conservative school board. Voters who choose the most qualified candidate in each Carmel district will inevitably elect three conservative candidates. More importantly, they will elect candidates that have the background and experience to truly make a difference on the Carmel Clay School Board. Voting for a slate will also contribute to groupthink on our school board. We cannot allow this.
