I have known Max Engling for a few years, and during that time, I have seen his work ethic and dedication firsthand. Those things matter to me. When I support someone for public office, I want to know what they believe, how they approach their work, and whether they understand the responsibility they are asking voters to give them. That is why I am supporting Max for Indiana secretary of state.
What stands out to me about Max is that he takes the work seriously. I have seen the effort he puts into what he does and his commitment to the things he believes in. Getting to know someone over several years gives you a perspective that a campaign advertisement cannot. My support for Max comes from that personal familiarity, along with the priorities he would bring to this office.
The secretary of state has responsibilities that touch our lives in ways we may not always think about. From elections to business services and investor protection, the office plays an important role in keeping Indiana a place where people can participate confidently in their government and build a future for their families.
Max understands the importance of those responsibilities. His platform emphasizes election integrity, including ensuring that only eligible citizens vote and creating a direct way for people to report potential election concerns. I support taking election security seriously and giving people a clear process for raising questions and getting answers. Those efforts should help Hoosiers have confidence that the rules are being followed and their votes matter.
I also appreciate his attention to the business side of the office. Max wants to streamline business services, reduce unnecessary red tape, and strengthen protections against fraudulent business filings. These are practical priorities that deserve attention. Starting and running a business already requires a tremendous investment of time, money, and effort. State government should make its requirements clear and its services easy to navigate.
At the same time, legitimate businesses and their customers benefit when dishonest operators are held accountable. Max’s focus on business-filing fraud recognizes that a strong business climate includes protecting the people who are doing things the right way. I believe Indiana can make it easier to do business while taking fraud seriously.
During the August debate, Max also emphasized better communication among state agencies to help businesses. That may sound like a small thing, but anyone who has tried to work through a complicated process knows how much clear communication matters. Making government easier to navigate is a worthwhile goal, and it is the kind of practical work I want our elected officials focused on.
For me, this election is an opportunity to support someone I know, whose dedication I have seen, and whose priorities I believe would serve Indiana well. Max brings conservative convictions and a willingness to put in the work. His focus on secure elections, honest business, and effective service gives Hoosiers good reasons to support him.
I am proud to stand with Max Engling. I believe he will bring the same work ethic and dedication I have seen over the past few years to serving our state, and I encourage my fellow Hoosiers to join me in voting for him for Indiana secretary of state.
