Although they don’t agree on a lot of issues, both Democrat U.S. Senator Joe Donnelly and Republican challenger Mike Braun are both taking caution when it comes to tariffs that could hurt Indiana’s farmers.

Both candidates spoke today at a forum hosted by the Indiana Soybean and Indiana Corn Growers alliance.

Both spoke on the latest farm bill and said the agreed with crop insurance protections for farmers.

In addition, when it comes to tariffs, both Donnelly and Braun said they agreed that the nation should stand up to the Chinese on unfair trade practices, but they also wanted to see Indiana’s farmers not get harmed in the process.

You can hear them both in the Leon-Tailored Audio above.  Each segment runs between  6-8 minutes.
