As Indiana lawmakers look at ways to lower health care costs. a chief policy advocate for Hoosiers for Affordable Health Care says someone is going to eventually tackle the issue of hospital monopolies.
A recent study stated that Indiana had some of the highest health care costs in the country and a number of bills have been introduced this session to address the issue.
However, Matt Bell, chief advisor for Hoosiers for Affordable Health Care says the monopolies that hospitals have in the state will have to be addressed.
