Indiana House Speaker Brian Bosma says Ways and Means Chairman Dr. Tim Brown (R-Crawfordsville) was injured in a motorcycle accident this morning in Michigan.
According to the Speaker’s office, Brown was traveling on his motorcycle with State Rep. Mike Speedy when he struck an SUV that pulled out in front of them.
Rep. Speedy was able to avoid the vehicle and was not injured.
The Speaker noted, “Out of respect for Tim’s family, we cannot confirm any details about his condition at this time. Tim is an invaluable member of our leadership team, a dedicated public servant and one of my most cherished friends. Our prayers are with him, his family and Rep. Speedy.”
