With one day left to go before the Tuesday general election, early voting is Indianapolis and Marion County is down a third from where it was in 2011.
According to the Marion County Clerk’s office early voting in-person numbers are 33% lower than this time in 2011 and requests for absentee ballots by mail are down 35 percent.
In addition the number of returned absentee ballots are down from 90 to 71 percent.
