J.C. Watts, a conservative visionary with a passion for health care, education and national security, will be the featured speaker at the Indiana Chamber of Commerce’s Chamber Day Dinner on February 15. Watts is expected to shed some light on the matters that are most on people’s minds and offer his unique perspective.

Watts has held various public service roles in his career: four-term Oklahoma congressman, chairman of the House Republican Conference and co-chairman of the 2000 Republican National Convention.

The Chamber Day event will be held at the Indiana Roof Ballroom in downtown Indianapolis and annually draws hundreds of policy, business and community leaders. Thompson Thrift is the presenting sponsor.

Watts’ background also includes being an ordained minister, star college quarterback (Oklahoma Sooners) and author. He’s currently the chairman of the Black News Channel.

This year’s expanded Chamber Day program also will feature the presentation of the first ever winner and finalists of the Indiana Chamber’s Coolest Thing Made in Indiana online competition, which celebrates the state’s long manufacturing tradition. The contest is sponsored by MCM CPAs & Advisors.

Chamber Day Dinner tickets are $250 per person or $165 for Indiana Chamber members; tables are also available. Visit www.indianachamber.com/event/chamberday to purchase.
