Once again, we considered ourselves very fortunate this Fall to have partnered again with our friends at Mason Strategies to bring you independent polling data regarding the race for Indianapolis Mayor, the City-County Council as well as on such issues as crime and IndyGo’s Red Line.
As you know, we worked with Mason Strategies last year to poll the U.S. Senate race (we were the most accurate poll in the nation) and we polled earlier this summer on the Indianapolis mayoral contest and council races to gauge local opinions on education and state and national officials.
I have stated before and I will again, independent polling, when done properly and in the right context, can be a valuable tool for voters, candidates and the community as a whole.
And we take pride to have been the only media outlet in Central Indiana to have done any sort of public polling on important races in the last couple of years and it is our intent to do two polls next year, one in the spring and one in the fall, such as the Presidential race, gubernatorial contests and on other important issues.
We are also thankful for our friends, supporters, and partners who have helped ease the financial burden of conducting such polling by helping provide us with the resources to engage in these activities.
We are committed to the voters of Indianapolis, Marion County and the state of Indiana and we will continue to bring them the information they need to make more informed decisions.
Thanks again for your support.

P.S. We spoke with Mason Strategies owner Steve Spiker who helped explain the results and methodology of the poll. You can hear him in the Leon-Tailored Audio Podcast above.
