Republican State Senator Mike Delph is getting a primary challenger.

Corrie Meyer of Carmel,  a city planner and landscape architect,  announced on her Facebook page that she is running for Delph’s Senate seat.

On her Facebook page, Meyer says the following…

“Indiana State Senate District 29 needs vision and leadership – not just politics. As a city planner, I look ahead and create innovative plans with realistic action steps for a better quality of life and greater economic development. I build consensus and pull resources together to implement positive change. I have been committed to elevating our local communities for nearly 20 years.

I am committed to bringing my skills, education, and passion to the State Senate to achieve our goals of having stronger communities, a better workforce, and a cleaner environment. To this end, I pledge to work for all the people in Senate District 29.

Our District needs an alternative candidate who not only pledges to but focuses on the district’s diverse neighborhoods and their needs.”
